BEHIND THE CAMERA - SOPHIE & DAN’S FUN FILLED GREEK WEDDING

As London and Dorset based wedding photographers this May we were over the moon to shoot our first destination wedding photography on the small island of Lefkas, Greece for the lovely Sophie and Dan.

The beautiful Lefkada, on the west coast of Greece couldn’t have been a more picturesque setting for a destination wedding. Sandy beaches, mountain ranges that looked as though they were out of a painting and blue skies as far as the eye could see. All of this made the perfect backdrop for Sophie & Dan’s fun-filled, easy-going Grecian beach wedding.

Surrounded by their closest friends and wonderful family, Sophie & Dan officially ‘tied the knot’ at 4pm, at the brilliant NV Beach Bar, placed perfectly on a private beach, but, not before the bridal party made a low-key entrance on a private boat.

Post-ceremony, Sophie, Dan, and their guests enjoyed a private boat ride around the island, with some people finding it the perfect opportunity to test the crystal-clear water of the Mediterranean Sea before heading back to land.

The evening continued until the early hours starting with a traditional Greek meal (we had our fair share of olives and Tzatziki - thank you guys!), heart-felt speeches, with lots of laughter, and plenty of dancing.
